Hi all,

Yes don't be too shocked it has only taken me 6 months to at last come on here, Marie,s great grandson is a lovely looking baby and I like his name saw a pic on mum's site as I haven't been visiting yet. As Mum said we have moved from the old cottage next door to a large 3 bedroom brick house with the most fantastic view of Waub's Bay and Redbill beach as soon as I can get Tony to find out why opur canmera batteries are not charging will take some. I tried with my new phone took heaps and then lost them all somewhere, still getting used to this one after Tony wanted my old one. It is quiet here today as Tony has gone fishing overnight 2nd ime this week and we have had no one move in yet although a couple around Tonys age with NSW plates looked at it yesterday don
t know if they will be renting it or not. We still have to move parrots over but have to order some parts to fix it all together as we are making a movable one and will be much bigger. Actually I came on here as I had an email from Mum and wan't to read her comments but the one she was on about to me I cant find it. I hope all is well with everyone and you are all getting prepared for xmas ours will just be the 2 of us and as I dont like xmas will be no fuss at all. Going to Tonys mums or they will come here for new year as they are going to their other sons for x mas and I just feel it is a long drive for a few hours.
I have a new 2nd hand car it is a 1982 BMW Sports Coupe 2 door and in quite good nick for its age and drives like a dream except I have to just get some hoses fixed next week and it will have a service also. I have given up university as with my bi polar I was finding it difficult to concentrate although my last assignment I did I managed to get a High Distinction first one of those so was pleased. Unpacking almost done well my stuff anyway now just Tonys to sort out and move to shed it is lovely having built in robes and a lovely big kitchen as we had been living out of plastic crates for the last 3 years.
Well my friends I hope I still have some left I most go and feed the chickens and guinea fowl and collect eggs as I forgot this morning.

I have been packing my case ready for the flight to Adelaide on Tuesday, trying to keep it light and not really sure what to take, still if I forget anything can always buy it
The weather here was lovely for 3 days but today it has been raining hard nearly all day. We tried to start the car today and ended up with a fire underneath and now the handbrake is melted on from the fire so no car We were trying to get to his mums for her birthday but she rang and said dont come out in this weather we would have gone if car had been ok. Will just have to start saving for another one and in the meantime it will be shank's pony well for Tony at least I wont miss the car till I get back.

Now for a few things you might not have known !!!!!!!!!

A rat can last longer without water than a camel.

Your stomach has to produce a new layer of mucus every two weeks or it will digest itself.

The dot over the letter "i" is called a tittle.

A raisin dropped in a glass of fresh champagne will bounce up and
down continuously from the bottom of the glass to the top.

A female ferret will die if it goes into heat and cannot find a mate.

Chewing gum while peeling onions will keep you from crying.

A 2 X 4 is really 1-1/2" by 3-1/2".

During the chariot scene in "Ben Hur," a small red car can be seen
in the distance (and Heston's wearing a watch).

On average, 12 newborns will be given to the wrong parents daily!
(That explains a few mysteries....)

Sherlock Holmes NEVER said, "Elementary, my dear Watson."

Because metal was scarce, the Oscars given out during World War II were made of wood.

The number of possible ways of playing the first four moves per
side in a game of chess is 318,979,564,000.

There are no words in the dictionary that rhyme with orange,
purple and silver.

Astronauts are not allowed to eat beans before they go into space
because passing wind in a spacesuit damages them.

The very first bomb dropped by the Allies on Berlin in World War II killed the only elephant in the Berlin Zoo.

If one places a tiny amount of liquor on a scorpion, it will
instantly go mad and sting itself to death. (Who was the sadist who
discovered this??)

All until I get to Mum's

Well all I am sick of looking at grey skies and no sun but we are sure getting plenty of rain, it is a bit muddy around the house as it just isn't running away as fast as it is coming down. Still it is lovely and warm in the lounge with a wood fire roaring.
I have booked my flight and will be with Mum on the 23rd June at around 9pm as my plane doesn't get in until 8pm, there are no more direct flights so have to wait in Melbourne airport for nearly an hour.
I have re enrolled into University and will be doing English Literature for this semester, thought I would just do one unit to get me back into the swing of things, have to read King Lear and do some creative writing for  one assignment so hope mum can help me with that.

Well all for now be back soon

I am sitting here thinking of something to talk about, firstly thanks for all your kind comments. As I look outside all I can see is a bleak grey sky laden with either snow or rain!!! It never snows very often here in Bicheno but I expect that in Hobart Mt. Wellington will have snow at the top. Tony is watching Aussie Rules football on fox sports as we both do the football tipping him at the local pub me just at 4 places on the internet, not that I get close to getting a money prize even though I usually get 6-8 right each week. I am also playing bingo at Playtime bingo online as I am writing this hoping for a win have done pretty good this week have won $50 so saves me having to put more in
I shall have to forage around on the net for some interesting bits to put on here as I am such a boring person. Our car is playing up I think we need a new battery as it is so hard to start when it is cold.
Well i have found an interesting fact that I didn't know about so will leave you with the following.
Cheers Angela

Earwigs Facts

Earwigs (Order Dermaptera) are small bugs that got their name from the myth that they climb into people's ears and therein lay their eggs or tunnel into the brain. Earwigs also have two penises! Both are larger than it's body and  it needs the second one just in case one of them snaps off! "It's an interesting phenomenon," says Mike Siva-Jothy of the University of Sheffield, UK. He thinks there must be some evolutionary advantage to the earwig's "unusually long" and fragile organs.

Good morning all, it is 6.50am on sunday and as I couldn't sleep anymore thought I must catch up on here. I am feeling heaps better if still tired at times but the stitches seem to be dissolving and not sticking in me when I sit. Hopefully I will be going to visit Mum after I see the surgeon on 18th June, there is a late flight which I will take. It seems ;like so long since I have seen her and we always have a good laugh about nothing at times. It is getting colder here but still sunny most days, we had a little rain last night which was good. Oh yes I had to round up some of the sheep that had got out from the paddock next door to us, Tony opened the gate I drove the car up beside them and the fence and slowly but surely in they went, I was so glad that the rest didn't get out. Then yesterday Tony went out to get some wood and lo and behold bloody sheep back out side the paddock again, so we rang our landlord who is a sheep farmer and he came down with the dog and got them back in he has to find where they are getting out, as they are merino sheep and their fleece is expensive, our landlord went over to England and imported his merino rams, he likes me because I am english and he loves england even though he was born and bred here,
Well enough of a ramble for me will go and read my emails then have a game of bingo online!!!!!
Take care all.
Love Angela

This is what you could call a bad hair day
